Clarence Mann, President & Owner of Vistabution has been a contributor to Saint Augustine’s University Scholarship program. As a Saint Augustine University alumni, Mr. Mann is happy to give back and help other students assist with payment for their education from donations to the various scholarships offered including the Presidential Scholarship, which covers any highschool student who meets the qualifications for a full-ride scholarship at Saint Augustine’s University. Saint Augustine’s University is a private Historically Black College and University founded in 1867 in Raleigh, NC.
Vistabution Supports 2017 HBCU Internship Program
Vistabution is happy to enrolled into the North Carolina’s Historically Black College and Universities’ (HBCU) Intiative. North Carolina has the most HBCUs in of all states and started by the Policy Center of North Carolina government. The programs sponsors 10 of North Carolina’s HBCUs which assist students in securing internships for the summer of 2017. Upon enrollment into the program, students are given a $1,000 living stipend for common expenses such as food, clothing, housing expenses, etc. Vistabution was one of the many companies that was selected by this program.Through this program, Brandon Reyes (pictured left), a senior at North Carolina Central University was selected.
Vistabution volunteers at North Carolina Food Bank
Vistabution staff had the opportunity to volunteer at the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina for the Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service. Staff sorted through hundreds of potatoes to find the best ones for distribution at the food bank. They’ve provided food for people at risk of hunger in a 34 county service area for over 35 years. They serve a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters and programs for children and adults.For more information visit www.foodbankcenc.org
Vistabution Employee Volunteers at Academy in Durham
Amidst her busy work schedule at Vistabution, Shelia Tillery, Accountant for the firm finds time to volunteer at the Reaching All Minds STEM Academy (RAM) in Durham, NC. RAM is a tuition-free, grades K-5, charter school.
