Vistabution Employee Wins “Good Faith Efforts” award
The Department of Administration’s NC Historically Underutilized Businesses Office (HUB) recognized Angela Esteva, Director, Business Development (pictured left with Secretary Machelle Sanders) for their 2017 Good Faith Efforts award during the annual State Construction Conference. The award recognizes an individual who goes above and beyond in promoting the HUB Program and by mentoring and contracting with other HUB, firms workers and employees.
Vistabution Wins “Excellence In Business” Award
Vistabution was honored as the recipient of the 2016-2017 Excellence in Business award by the NC Historically Underutilized Business Office (HUB) at the Minority Enterprise Development Week Conference. Clarence Mann, President & Owner (pictured left), received the award which distinguishes a firm for demonstrating outstanding business acumen and achieving significant business growth. With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Mann guides the firm with his strong leadership and strategic innovation.
Vistabution Passes With A “Gold Star” in Contractor’s Program
Angela Esteva, Director, Business Development (pictured left) completed and graduated from the NC the Contractor’s College program. Sponsored by the NC Historically Underutilized Business Office (HUB) the program’s objective was to build HUB firms capacity by facilitating specific contracting opportunities; provide increased training in the areas of project management and productivity, public construction processes, marketing and business development, project scheduling, bidding, digital documentation, contracts, law and ethics and purchasing.
Vistabution Featured in HUB Annual Report
The 2015 Department of Administrations HUB annual report highlighted Vistabution as one of their success stories. 2015 was a positive year in growth and achievement for the HUB Office and its many programs. Their top priorities include building awareness of contracting opportunities, continuing to be the gateway for contractor readiness programs and develop a uniform process for statewide agency compliance in order to more effectively ensure that reporting and good faith effort laws are enforced.
North Carolina State University Highlights Vistabution in Wolf Works Newsletter
North Carolina State University’s Wolf Works April 2015 newsletter introduced Vistabution as one of the Contractors providing services to their Facilities and Capital Project Management divisions. Clarence (CJ) Mann, Jr. (pictured left), Vice President, relayed how in 2001 Vistabution opened its doors to provide asbestos, lead and mold remediation services. Since then and due to increasing client demands, the firm continues to expand its list of services and today specializes in providing Environmental Remediation, Land Acquisition/Right of Way Consulting, Demolition, and Disaster Response services to state, municipal, city and government agencies.
